Aert de Gelder

Arent de Gelder, Aert de Gelder also (* October 26, 1645 in Dordrecht; † August 1727 ) was a Dutch painter.

Life

Funds was initially a pupil of Samuel van Hoogstraten and then went to Amsterdam, where he worked until 1667 of about 1661 in Rembrandt, his last pupils he belonged. He painted in the style of his master historical paintings and portraits. He died in 1727 in Dordrecht.
