Shortly thereafter, found singer and drummer Vidar Storm ( even with Antaeus and Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition) to the band added. 1996 met bassist Christophe do so, and in December the demo Chroniques du Crépuscule was taken. The band rehearsed in Saint Ouen in Paris, the same location as Antaeus and Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition.

1997 met the bassist Milambre (ex Despond ) and guitarist Seth ( Antaeus, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition) to Aes Dana. The band played several concerts in Paris and moved to the New York studio in the north of Paris.

1999 Storm then left the band and was replaced by JuanJolocaust. In April of the next year we entered the studio to record a Maxi - CD, which then appeared in 2000 on their own. Seth was replaced by Tilion on guitar, because Seth himself wanted to concentrate on his other bands more. In January 2005, Taliesin Paris and Aes Dana left and moved to French Guiana. Guitarist Aegir ( Apocriphall ) and flutist Myrddin joined the band. After problems with Sacral Productions Aes Dana ended all relations with the record company and released in October 2005 on Formors Adipocere Records / Oaken Shield. Was named the album after the violent and misshapen Irish myths people Fomori.

In 2008, the band signed a record deal with a German label. Aegir left the group and moved to London; he was replaced by Taliesin, who had returned to Paris. Junjolocaust got out and moved to the south of Spain, also left Aes Dana. New guitarist in 2010 Ireel, 2011 came drummer Wilfrid (Forest of Souls ) to do so. Currently Aes Dana is working on her third album.

Style

Chroniques du Crépuscule based on atmospheric Black Metal, the English lyrics are about visions, chimeras and legends. Because of the noise of drums Storms in the first rehearsal of the band had Amorgen her flute attach the microphone and play loud to be heard at all, and invented a new technique to play the tin whistle. Starting in 1997, the pieces were brutal, and of Taliesin and Amorgen written texts in French about pagan sagas.

As of 2000, the band wanted to incorporate more traditional instruments in their music; Amorgen wanted to use a medieval bombard and came at a folk festival in Saint Chartier on a Catalan oboe. The influences of the musicians are from the Death Metal, Black Metal, Grindcore and traditional music. The lyrics are about old legends and especially also of Bards, Celtic poets and singers. For the most part the lyrics are written in French, but partly used the band and the English language.
