Æthelweard of East Anglia

Æthelweard, also: Ethel weard or Æthelweard, († uncertain: 855) was 845-855 King of the Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of East Anglia. To Æthelweards life no contemporary accounts have survived. He is known only by about 25 coins that bear his name. He probably died in 855, his successor was Edmund the Martyr.
