AFC South

The AFC South is one of four divisions of the American Football Conference (AFC ). The AFC is next to the National Football Conference ( NFC) one of the two Conferences of the National Football League ( NFL). These two Conferences are each divided into four divisions, geographically according to the four cardinal directions. The NFC and AFC are not divided according to geographical location. To play the New York Giants in the NFC and the New York Jets that use even the same home stadium as the Giants, in the AFC.

The AFC South was formed with the restructuring of the NFL 2002 new. As in all divisions of the NFL play four teams in the AFC South. These are the Indianapolis Colts, which is the first and only team in this division won the Super Bowl in the 2006 season, the Houston Texans, the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
