Affalterbach (Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm)

Affalterbach is a district of the Upper Bavarian town of Pfaffenhofen and located about 5 km northeast of the county seat.

History

The village is first mentioned in 755 as Affoltrabach, the name means " apple tree creek ". Since July 1, 1972 ( municipal reform ) Affalterbach is a district of Oberpfaffenhofen.

Attractions

The tower of the parish church of St. Michael dates from the 14th/15th. Century, the church itself was built in the 1960s.

Outside the town there is a model airfield.
