Affi

Affi is a municipality in the province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, it is located about 120 km west of Venice and about 20 km northwest of Verona. Affi has 2313 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) and an area of 9.8 km ².

The municipality consists of the villages Affi Affi, Incaffi and Caorsa. The Italian physician, poet, scholar and philosopher of the Renaissance Girolamo Fracastoro had his country seat in Incaffi on which he died in 1553.

Immediately west of Affi is located in Monte Moscal an underground duct system, which was used from 1960 to 2007 by NATO. The bunker was the code name Weststar.

Affi borders the municipalities of Bardolino, Cavaion Veronese, Costermano Rivoli Veronese.
