Affton is a settlement on community- free area, which is conducted for statistical purposes as a census-designated place (CDP). Affton is located in St. Louis County in the U.S. state of Missouri and is part of the metropolitan area of Greater St. Louis. In 2010, Affton had 20,307 inhabitants.
Geography
Affton is located in the south-western suburb of St. Louis area about three kilometers west of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Illinois. Affton is located at 38 ° 33'02 " north latitude and 90 ° 19'59 " west longitude. Affton extends over 11.9 km ² and is located in Concord Township.
Immediately at Affton bordering places are Marlborough in the north, Wilbur Park and Villa Bella in the east, in the southeast Lemay, Green Park in the southwest and Lake Shire and Grant Wood Village to the west. The center of the city of St. Louis is located 19 km northeast.
Traffic
