Afri-Ski

Afri-Ski is the only ski resort in Lesotho. It is situated in the Maloti - Drakensberg or in the district Butha -Buthe to about 3030 meters.

The resort is located on the road connecting Butha -Buthe after Mokhotlong on Highway A1. From the west it can be reached via the steep Moteng pass and the Mahlasela Pass. It is one of only two ski areas in southern Africa and offers accommodation for 352 people. There are two slopes, each with a ski lift and a snow park for snowboarders present. Snow cannons help with lack of snow. In 2010 the South African Championships held here in skiing and snowboarding.
