AG Märkische Kleinbahn

The AG märkische small train in Berlin ( - MKB - founded in 1981, legal capacity, since 1982) has made it his mission to get next to the historic railway vehicles other objects from the railway system also operable or museum (for example, signaling, telecommunications and security technology ) and those of the public to make them accessible. Operating center is the engine shed in Schönow in the Berlin district of Steglitz- Zehlendorf.

Rolling stock

The vehicles and equipment the MKB and the other exhibits will be held by the members in casual work repaired. Where admission to the railway operation is required, the statutory inspections carried out by the state railway authority.

Operative control and ancillary vehicles with private drive are:

  • MKB 01 - Kings small locomotive 0128, diesel engine, 25 hp,
  • MKB 03 - small locomotive DIEMA DVL 15/1, 16 hp diesel engine,
  • MKB 51 - rotting cars ex DB Klv 51-9005, diesel engine 75 hp,
  • MKB 52 - railcar ex Siemens rail freight (type Klv 12) petrol engine 26 hp,
  • MKB 53 - Hand lever trolley ex TCDD, " muscle motor "
  • MKB 55 - railcar ex MÁV, gasoline engine with 14 hp.

For this purpose ( some still in working up ) different freight cars, a Behelfspersonenwagen Prussian design, a railway mail cars come ( off).

Other exhibits

A ticketing historical model along with ticket printer and the teaching signal box " Frohnau " and the signal Garden MKB examine the background operation of the railway.

Operation

The MKB is Mitbenutzerin with its own management at the facilities of the former Zehlendorfer railway, now RBH Logistics / Goerzbahn. Trains as with other heritage railways is not performed at MKB, the operation is limited to shunting. However, visitors of the site have the opportunity to ride on the vehicles. Each year in September the activities and progress in the association's work will be presented at the open house to the public.
