Agapius Masong

Agapius Masong ( born April 12, 1960) is a former Tanzanian marathon runner.

In 1982, he was second at the Seoul International Marathon. The following year, he was sent to a fourth place finish at the Houston Marathon and a second place in the Stockholm Marathon with his personal best of 2:10:42 in fifth at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki. Two months later, he was fourth at the Chicago Marathon.

In 1984 he was fourth at the Rotterdam Marathon and won in Stockholm. At the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he was a rank 21. End of the season he was ninth in Chicago.

In 1986 he finished seventh at the New York City Marathon. In the further course of his career victories him reach the Bremen marathon through town and country in 1988 and the Belgrade Marathon 1991.
