Agdangan, Quezon

Agdangan is a Philippine municipality in the province of Quezon, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 11,567 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 12 barangays. It is classified as a community of the fifth income class in the Philippines.

Agdangan located in the northeast of the bay of Tayabas, at the coast are smaller mangrove forests. Your neighboring municipalities are Atimonan in the north, Unisan in the southeast, Padre Burgos in the north- west. The topography of the city is characterized by flatlands, rolling hills and mountainous landscapes.

Agdangan is connected via the Maharlika Highway and the railway with the Bicol region and the capital region of Metro Manila. The daily railway is operated by the Philippine National Railways.
