Ageia Technologies, Inc. was a company founded in 2002, US-based company with headquarters in Mountain View, California. In February 2008, Nvidia announced the acquisition of Ageia.

The semiconductor manufacturer has developed until now the only physics accelerator ( PPU) with names PhysX using an extension card for computer is available, among others since May 2006.
