Agent Aika

AIKa is an anime OVA series that was produced in the years 1997 and 1998. The title derives from the name of the protagonist Aika Sumeragi. The series was broadcast several times on VOX and later on VIVA and GIGA For the German-speaking countries; but it is available (FSK 16) also commercially available. Directed by Katsuhiko Nishijima, the character design designed Yamauchi Noriyasu with the participation of Yuji Moriyama.

There are seven 30-minute episodes in addition to a brief episode. The first season (1997) comprises four episodes, the second ( 1998) three.

Action

Having risen in 2016 by a chain of natural disasters in sea level and also the Japanese capital Tokyo is sunk into the sea, a new professional group of salvager, agents, associated with the many sunken treasures in the floods forms. Some twenty years after the disaster, the K2 - organization of Aika (Japanese皇 蓝 华, Sumeragi Aika ) and her assistant Rion (相田 りおん, Aida Rion ) receives the order, a mysterious energy source, the lagoon to recover. However, even siblings Nena and Rudolf Hagen with their DELMO organization are such that the conflicts between the two parties did not leave behind the Lagu ago, a long time coming.

It is characteristic of the series that all female persons acting wear extremely short skirts, which can be seen along with underwear over and over again from the bottom ( see fanservice ).

AIKa has a special bra (sometimes loop tape, or shield called ), which is a product of nanotechnology, and the extent of human in critical combat situations forces lends its control but requires high willpower.

The German version of the series was dubbed in the studios of Aaron movie in Nuremberg.

Publications

The anime consists of two OVAs: " AIKa " and " AIKa New Mission ". The first OVA was released in Germany on two VHS tapes and later on a DVD, the latter in 2001 and synchronized bilingual, and German subtitles.

About a year later, the second OVA was released on another DVD, with about the same features of the previous release. Responsible for this distinguished OVA film.

In addition, the series was also released in the U.S. on two DVDs.

OVA in 2007 was continued by the prequel AIKa R-16: Virgin Mission and 2009 AIKa Zero.
