Agesander of Rhodes
Hagesandros (Greek Ἁγήσανδρος, Agesandros, Hagesanderus ) was a Greek sculptor of the second -1. Century BC from Rhodes.
His most famous work, which he produced along with the sculptors Athanadoros and Polydorus, the Laocoon Group, now in the Vatican Museum in Rome, a marble copy from the second half of the 1st century BC
Another work, which was also created jointly by the same sculptors, is the Scylla group, which was found in a huge cave by the sea at Sperlonga, 100 kilometers south of Rome.
