Aggersund

Aggersund is a Danish village with 347 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) in the western Himmerlands. The village has been the municipal reform of 2007 part of the Vesthimmerlands commune in the North Jutland. Previously, she was part of Løgstør municipality in the Official North Jutland.

Established in 1942, inaugurated Aggersundbrücke between the north and the south part of the village lies at the narrowest point of the same name Sundes which connects the eastern and the western part of the Limfjord with each other. The bridge replaced the ferry service available to date.
