Aggradation

Landing or aggradation also referred to as opposed to sedimentation deposition of soil material be brought in from outside ( eg, gravel, sand, clay), is deposited on the coasts and shores and leads to replenish the water.

The landing can be the beginning of an allogeneic (due to external influences ) succession. Examples include riparian vegetation, sedimentation and salt marshes.
