Agha Nour mosque

The Agha- Nur Mosque (Persian مسجد آقانور [ mæsd͡ʒɛd ɑqɑnuɾ ɛ ] ) is a mosque in Isfahan, Iran. It was started during the era of Abbas I. and completed by Safi I.. Therefore, the names of these two kings are mentioned in the inscription above the entrance.

The mosque was built under the supervision of one of the richest men in Isfahan, Mohammad Esfahani Nureddin. The Schabestan the Agha- Nur mosque is considered one of the finest in Isfahan. It is made of stone pillars and marble arches who donate during the day light.
