Agha Shahi
Agha Shahi ( born August 25, 1920 in Bangalore, † September 6, 2006 in Islamabad ) was a Pakistani diplomat and politician. His diplomatic career began in 1951 Between 1967 and 1972 he represented his country as Ambassador to the United Nations in New York.; and was succeeded by Ahmed Iqbal Akhund. From 1977 to 1982 he was secretary of state under Mohammed Zia ul- Haq.
Shahi died in September 2006 at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences to a myocardial infarction.
