Agilent VEE

VEE ( en. for Visual Engineering Environment ) is a visual programming language from Agilent. It was originally developed by Hewlett -Packard as HP VEE. National Instruments offers its competing product under the name of LabVIEW.

Use

VEE is primarily used in the measurement and automation technology for virtual instruments (VIs ), such as oscilloscopes, digital voltmeter, data logger, digital switching channels, analog output, waveform generator, counters, and to create much more. VEE is particularly suitable for data acquisition and processing and for controlling the program flow. Embedded Matlab scripting language for complex mathematics, graphics and digital signal processing are directly integrated and accessible through the VEE menu.

Due to the graphical programming interface the manufacturer intends a fast and intuitive learning curve, without the need to have for simple applications of significant programming skills.

Runtime environment

In VEE unlimited licenses for runtime environments are included. Thus, with VEE created, executable programs are installed without the development environment on any number of systems or resold. As of version 8.x one. NET Framework is required at runtime.
