AGIPI Billiard Masters

The AGIPI Billiard Masters was a three-band tournament which was held in Schiltigheim in France.
The invitational tournament for the top three players in the world band was from 2008 to 2013 fought six times in total. On October 5, 2013, it was announced that the "father" and sponsors of the tournament, Claude Fath, resigned from his post as director of the AGIPI. Since his successor is rather fond of football as the pool, it is from the season 2013 / 14 no continuation of give, after Crystal Kelly Cup, highly doped three-band tournament more.
The games were broadcast extensively on the TV channel Euro Sport 2 and the internet about Kozoom live.
Mode
It was played in four groups, each with five players. The two best group will qualify for the final round. Here á four players was played in two groups. The two group winners qualified for the semifinals. The semi-final winners bestreiteten the final. It was played to 50 points. From 2009: The last 8 played quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
The 2012 tournament started with 28 participants. 8 players were set for the two qualifying groups before the quarter-finals. The rest had to qualify through qualifying rounds, a third course was held again. The finale of 22 - 25th March 2012 sent Euro Sport 2 Live and Kozoom again.
Purse
