Agnieszka Cyl

Agnieszka Cyl (birth name Agnieszka Grzybek; born 28 February 1984 in Jelenia Góra ) is a Polish biathlete.

Agnieszka Cyl lives in Jelenia Góra and is a student. It starts Karkonosze for FMD and is trained by Andrzej Kozinski. Biathlon operates since 2001, since 2003 it belongs to the Polish national team. In 2002 she competed in Ridnaun at the Junior World Cup. Best results were a 17th place in the pursuit and a seventh place in the relay. 2005 Kontiolahti was a 14th place in the individual best result. At the Junior European Championship in the same year in Novosibirsk Cyl Eleventh sprint, seventh in the pursuit and won silver in the Polish squadron. In the senior European Championships in 2006 and 2007 in Bansko village long she could not achieve significant results.

Since 2004 Cyl started in Junior European Cup, since the following year in the European Cup. Towards the end of the season 2005/ 06, the Polish woman in Martell and Gurnigel in five consecutive races could be placed on single-digit ranks, including three times on the second and third places. At the beginning of the season 2006/ 07 she was appointed to the Biathlon World Cup. In her fourth individual race in Oberhof Cyl could run with rank 32 already in the proximity of the World Cup points. The same placement she made in the 2007/ 08 season with a single in Pokljuka. In Pyeong Chang won in the season in 24th place in the sprint and pursuit of the 25 points for the first time. In Östersund the Pole started at the Biathlon World Championships 2008. During her first World Championships, she was 79th in singles, 66th in the sprint and seventh with the Polish women's relay. At the World Cup in Hochfilzen Agnieszka Cyl occupied jointly with the Polish Season Ladies third place, the best result for a Polish squadron. Also well it ran during the 2009/10 season, when they finished 14th in a sprint race in Ostersund and achieved 12th place in the sprint in Antholz her so far best individual result in the World Cup. This result improved Agnieszka Cyl at the Olympic Winter Games in 2010 as was in 7th place in the individual race. With the season she was ranked 12th in the 2010/11 season was Cyl strongest Polin. Among other things they could improve their personal best in a sprint race in Presque Isle up to a sixth.
