Agostino Di Bartolomei

Agostino Di Bartolomei ( born April 8, 1955 in Rome, Italy, † 30 May 1994, San Marco ) was an Italian football player.

Career

Di Bartolomei played 1972-1984 AS Roma, where he had his most successful period. He was Italian champion in 1983 and won the Italian Cup three times. He also played for AC Milan, AC Cesena and Salernitana Calcio. 1975/76 he was on loan at Lane Rossi Vicenza. In the Italian U-21 national team, he scored seven goals in his eight games.

Death

Agostino Di Bartolomei committed suicide on May 30, 1994 suicide - on the day exactly ten years after losing the final of the European Champion Clubs' Cup against Liverpool.
