The Agout is a river in southern France, which runs into the regions of Languedoc -Roussillon and Midi -Pyrenees. It rises in the Monts de l' Espinouse, on the southwest edge of the eponymous Summit Sommet de l' Espinouse, in the municipality of Cambon -et- Salvergues. The Agout dehydrated with many changes of direction generally northwesterly directions, cutting across on the first half of his route the Regional Natural Park of Haut Languedoc and leads finally to 194 kilometers at Saint- Sulpice as a left tributary of the Tarn. On his way to the département Hérault and Agout affect the Tarn.
