Agrati

Agrati was a manufacturer of scooters in Como, Italy. As a private company, the company was founded in 1900 ( Agrati & Fils) and initially built electric motors, from 1958 also the famous Capri scooter with 70 cc engine from Garelli, in Germany with 50 cc engines from Sachs, the company changed its name to that time already as a corporation Agrati SRL

In 1960 there came to the merger with Garelli. Henceforth Garelli two-stroke engines have now been installed from 50 to 150 cm ³. The merger of the name " Agrati Garelli " was born. Later the name Agrati fell away; scooters were produced until 1978, only under the name " Garelli ".
