Agria

Agria (Greek Αγριά ( f sg ) ) is a Greek village in the region of Thessaly. By 2011, Agria formed a community and was incorporated with the administrative reform of 2010, the city of Volos, Agria since then has the status of a village ( Τοπική Κοινότητα ). Agria is about 7 km east of Volos on Pagasaean golf at the foot of Pelion Mountain.

The town is renowned for its olives and citrus trade. Agria is the birthplace of the musician Vangelis.
