Agricultural Bank of China

Agricultural Bank of China (ABC or AgBank, Chinese中国 农业 银行/中国 农业 银行, pinyin Zhōngguó Nongye Yínháng ) is a Chinese, partly state-owned company with headquarters in Beijing. The company was founded in 1949. Branches of the Agricultural Bank of China are located nationwide in the People's Republic of China and Singapore. The credit institution with 300,000 employees of the largest banks in China.

In April 2007, ABC victims of the largest bank robbery in Chinese history was. Two bank employees captured about 6.7 million U.S. dollars in Handan. They were convicted in a court case.

2010, the ABC was brought to the stock exchanges in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
