Agron of Illyria

Agron was an Illyrian king in the era of Hellenism. His empire included a large part of Illyria ( roughly present-day Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and southern Dalmatia ) as well as parts of Epirus and the island of Corfu. He succeeded his father Pleuratos in the reign, and reigned after 250-230 BC

During the reign Agrons the Illyrians were at the height of their power. Your army and their fleet were a major regional power factor in the Balkans and in the southern Adriatic. However, the Illyrian kingdom was a relatively unstable structure, a confederation of various tribal dominions over which Agron only a certain supremacy could claim.
