Agros is in the Limassol district of the Republic of Cyprus with about 1000 inhabitants, is one of the larger villages in the Troodos Mountains on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus.

It is situated at 1100 meters above sea level and boasts as a tourist for its healthy climate. In Agros rose water, rose oil, rose liqueur and rose wine is produced and exported for the most part.

From other Cypriot towns with similar populations, it is distinguished by its infrastructure: hospital, animal hospital, nursing home, child care for the little ones to two years, pre- kindergarten, elementary school, high school and an indoor sports center - measures that were taken to the exodus of counteract youth, which could be thus stopped.

Attractions

The barn roof church of the Metamorphosis, a UNESCO World Heritage Painted Churches in the Troodos area, stands near the village at Palaichori. In its Byzantine frescoes can be seen.
