AGROVOC

AGROVOC is a multilingual thesaurus for the field of agronomy, forestry, fisheries, food and related areas such as nutrition and the environment. A controlled vocabulary of AGROVOC consists of names and terms in several languages, between which various thesaurus relations (generic term, narrower term, related term ... ) exist. The so- defined terms ( descriptors ) are used for uniform indexing to allow a targeted and efficient search for relevant information.
