Agustín Morales

Agustín Morales Hernández ( born March 11, 1808 in La Paz, † November 27, 1872 ) was a Bolivian military, politician and president.

Life

Agustín Morales Hernández was initially a fervent advocate of the controversial President José Mariano Melgarejo, inter alia him for his loyalty with high government posts and the supreme command of the military rewarded. Later, Agustín Morales Hernández decided to switch sides. He joined the many critics of the President and was named after its deduction even President of Bolivia. He was in office from January 15 1871 until his assassination on November 27, 1872. During the Congress a resignation offer by Agustín Morales Hernández ( he was regarded as an angry and ruthless head of government ) advised that suffered a fit of rage and attacked a military aide. When he also hit his nephew, who wanted to settle the dispute, he was shot by this.
