Ahaneith

Ahaneith (also eye- Neith ) is the ancient Egyptian name of members of the royal family during the reign of the King ( Pharaoh) Wadji (1st Dynasty) survived.

Your name, which is similar to the goddess Neith, appears on a heavily damaged grave stele with the determinative of a seated woman. It bears no title. The stele consists of limestone, 35.5 cm high and 23 cm wide. Whether Ahaneith was the wife of the king, a royal official or a relative of the king, is not known.

Grave

Ahaneith was buried after the death of Wadji in addition to grave No. 57 in the necropolis of the King ( Tomb Z) in Abydos. Until the beginning of the 2nd Dynasty, it was the ancient Egyptian tradition, that some of the members of the royal family had to follow the ruler to his death.
