Ahkal Mo' Naab' I

Ahkal Mo ' Nahb I. ( born July 5, 465, † December 1 524 ) also known as Cauac - uinal I., was a Ajaw (ruler ) of the Mayan city of Palenque. He reigned from June 5, 501 until his death.

He is the first Ajaw of Palenque, whose exact life and government data are known. He is mentioned several times in a later Mayan text from the reign of K'inich Janaab Pakal I ( 615-683 ), currently however the exact reason for these notices is still unknown.
