Ahmed Benbitour

Ahmed Benbitour (. Arabic أحمد بن بيتور, DMG Aḥmad Bītūr; born June 20, 1946 in Metlili, Ghardaia, Algeria) was from December 1999 until his resignation in August 2000, Prime Minister of Algeria. His resignation is mainly due to his differences with the then President Bouteflika. He also was briefly Minister of Finance during the year 1996.
