Ahmed Osman (politician)

Ahmed Osman (Arabic: أحمد عصمان, DMG Aḥmad ʿ Usman; * 1930 ) was a Moroccan politician and diplomat.

Osman was dated November 2, 1972 to March 22, 1979 Prime Minister of Morocco. In this role he led in 1975 to the Green March. Previously, he was from 1961 to 1962 Ambassador of the country in Germany and then moved to the United States where he was from 1967 to 1970 Ambassador of Morocco.

From 1978 he was president of the National Rally of Independence ( RNI ) and later from 1984 to 1992 President of the Parliament.
