Ahmed Rami (writer)
Ahmed Rami (born 18 December 1946 in Tafraoute, Morocco) is a Swedish journalist of Moroccan origin. He is the founder of the former radio station Radio Islam, which is now being operated as a website.
Life
Ahmed Rami was until 1972 an officer of the Moroccan army. After his participation in the failed coup attempt republican officers to General Mohammed Oufkir against King Hassan II in August 1972, he fled from Morocco and has been living in Sweden in 1973 in political asylum. According to research by the newspaper Expressen were wrong by Rami made in the asylum process information, also its financial sponsors were made public. According to Expressen it involves Iran and several Arab embassies. Ramis lawsuit against the newspaper was dismissed in May 1993. In 1990, he was sentenced for the first time because of the dissemination of racist and anti-Semitic thought.

Activities
With "Radio Islam" Rami operates since 1987 in Sweden the collaboration of right-wing extremists and Islamists. He was sentenced several times for sedition and 1990, punishable by the withdrawal of his broadcasting license for a year. In 1991 he was in Munich participants in the Congress revisionist " truth sets you free", in the UK, he participated in a meeting organized by David Irving revisionist forum. His book The Power of Zionists, he published in 1994. Translated it was awarded the Swiss Holocaust denier Jürgen Graf.
Since 1996 he runs his website, spread on the revisionist ideas and is also linked to the websites of Hezbollah and Hamas. After he was convicted again in 2000 for sedition, his website was no longer to reach longer.
At a seminar organized by Oleg Platonov international meeting of Holocaust deniers in Moscow Rami was invited to speak in January 2002. In Vichy, he took part in December 2003 at the inaugural meeting of the extreme right-wing " Association for the Rehabilitation of the for disputing the Holocaust persecuted ".
