Ahmet Hakan CoÅŸkun

Ahmet Hakan ( b. 1967 in Yozgat ) is a Turkish journalist and writer. His full name is Ahmet Hakan Coskun.

He was born in 1967 as son of a Mufti in Yozgat. Due to the numerous dislocations of his father, he spent his childhood in various regions of Anatolia. He studied some time Islamic theology at the Uludağ University; later he studied in Istanbul. He worked as a television reporter, Program Director and Anchorman. He wrote for the Yeni Şafak and Sabah. Currently, Ahmet Hakan is a columnist for the daily newspaper Hürriyet and also directs a TV program called Tarafsız bölge on CNN Turk.

Ahmet Hakan wrote books about Deniz Baykal, the CHP and the Anatolian Left, on Mehmet Eymür and the Mafia, Yaşar Nuri Öztürk about and his view of Islam and Ahmet Kabakli and nationalism.
