AhnLab Inc is a South Korean software company and leader in anti -virus programs in South Korea.

Business

The company was founded in 1995 by Ahn Cheol -soo. AhnLab produces software, including antivirus programs, firewalls, IPS and security software for online games and mobile Internet. The company is located since 2012 in the city of Seongnam. AhnLab has a 65 % market share in South Korea. Ahn Cheol -soo came back in 2005 by Principals and sits on the supervisory board since then. CEO of the company today is Kim Hong - seon. The company is listed on the South Korean technology KOSDAQ stock market index. As the founder and namesake Ahn Cheol -soo, 2012 announced to run for the presidential elections in South Korea in 2012, the company's share price fell by 15%.
