Aiden McGeady ( born April 4, 1986 in Glasgow ) is an Irish football player who is under contract at Everton since January 2014.

Career

Association

McGeady made ​​his professional debut in 2004 at the Scottish club Celtic tradition Glasgow, for which he already played in the youth. In his first appearance in the Scottish Premier League on 25 April 2004, he scored in the away match at Heart of Midlothian his first goal. McGeady was voted the best young player in the squad for Celtic in 2005 and 2006.

McGeady was hampered during the 2005/ 06 season due to a persistent knee injury, but he played a significant role in Celtic's second season under Gordon Strachan.
