AIDS (journal)

AIDS is a scientific journal published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins Publishers. It is the official Journal of the International AIDS Society. The first edition appeared in 1987. Currently 18 issues per year appear. It will be published original and review articles in all areas of AIDS research.

The Impact Factor was in 2012 at 6,407. According to the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge is the journal impact factor with this in the category of Immunology at 16 out of 135 journals, conducted infectious diseases in third place out of 69 journals and in the category of virology in fourth out of 34 journals in the category.
