Aiguilles du Diable

The Aiguilles du Diable ( German: Devil tips) are five pinnacles over 4000 meters altitude on the south-east (also Teufelsgrat ) of the Mont Blanc du Tacul. The highest areas located on the French side of the Mont Blanc Range of needles is the L' Isolée with 4114 m height. There follow Pointe Carmen ( 4109 m), Pointe Médiane ( 4097 m), Pointe Chaubert ( 4074 m) and Corne du Diable ( 4064 m).

As the first needle Pointe Carmen in 1923 climbed by Brégault, Chevalier and De Lepiney. Followed in 1925 made ​​the first ascent of the other needles, the first L' Isolée by Antoine Blanchet and Armand Charlet, then the Corne du Diable Pointe Chaubert by Armand Charlet and Jean Chaubert.
