Aiktak Island

Aiktak Iceland is an island of Krenitzin Islands, a subgroup of the Fox Islands group of islands in the eastern Aleutian Islands, Alaska. The island is located south of Iceland Ugamak is 2 km long and is located 61 km east of Akutan Iceland. It is a breeding area for seabirds and on the north coast there are seals.

Aiktak is an Aleutian name given by Captain Tebenkov 1852 as " Ostrov Aikhtak ". RH Geoghegan says that the name of " aikhag " what "travel" or " go on a journey ", is derived.
