Ailinginae Atoll

Ailinginae is an uninhabited atoll in the Ralik chain of the Marshall Islands. The atoll is 27 times 9 km across, it has a land area of 2.8 km ², which encloses a lagoon of 105.96 km ². The entire atoll is surrounded by a coral reef. The lagoon has two navigable access to the sea, and Mogiri Eniibukku. The next Atoll, Rongelap, is 26 km away.

On the atoll grow casuarinas and coconut trees.

History
