Aílton José Almeida

Aílton José Almeida, called Aílton ( born August 20, 1984 in Hematita ) is a Brazilian football player at the position of a striker. Currently operates the technically driven and runs strong players Terek Grozny for the Premjer League.

Career

Aílton began his active career as a professional football player in 2000 at the Clube Atlético Mineiro, for which he stood until 2004 under contract. In his time at the club from Belo Horizonte, he was awarded twice. The first time he came to the Tupi FC, ​​after which it was awarded to the SC Corinthians Alagoano. In 2004, the Swedish football club Örgryte IS took the young Brazilian on the team. Until his departure in 2006 Aílton came up with a record of 63 games and scoring 26 goals.

On 1 January 2007, the FC Copenhagen won the Brazilian striker Örgryte IS for 22 million Danish kroner to be in the team. Such a huge sum had never spent a Danish club for a player. He playfully drew attention to himself when he scored his first goal for the club in his second game for the FCK against their great rivals Brøndby IF. With this goal, he ushered in a new and successful era for the club. Result, he was in the 2006/07 season with the Copenhagen tradition of Danish club champion. After some problems Aílton could not build on its recent performance a long time.

His big break came only in the 2008/09 season, in which he was from the beginning a regular player and important part of the team. This season in the UEFA Cup against Manchester City he scored a goal. With his two goals in qualifying for the UEFA Champions League 2011/12 against Wisla Krakow, he secured the participation of his new club APOEL Nicosia.
