AIMCO ( Apartment Investment and Management Company ) is a US-based company with headquarters in Denver, Colorado. The company is listed on the stock index S & P 500.

The Company The Considine Company, Inc. was founded in 1975 by Terry Considine. In 1987 the company took 75 percent stake in the U.S. company McDermott, stone and Ira from Denver. AMICO is structured as a real estate investment trust since 1994. 1994, the company went public.

Aimco is one of the largest owners and operators of apartment complexes in the United States with approximately 1,475 plants from around 260,000 units in 47 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Counter speculation and eviction protests in the U.S., the organization SEAM.
