Aimery of Limoges

Aimerich of Limoges (Latin Aimericus, French Aimery, † 1193 ) was a prelate of the Catholic Church in Outremer and from 1140 until his death in Latin Patriarch of Antioch. During his long episcopate, he was one of the most powerful people in the Principality of Antioch, beside the prince, with whom he often came into conflict. He was also one of the leading intellectuals in the Latin East.
