Aimo Diana

Aimo Stefano Diana ( born January 2, 1978 in Brescia, Italy) is an Italian football player, he plays at the position of midfielder.

Career

Aimo Diana began his professional career in his hometown at Brescia Calcio. After three seasons and Brescia's relegation to Serie B, he played 1999/2000 for Hellas Verona in Serie A and reached the team a respectable ninth place.

After a brief return to Brescia Calcio Diana moved in September 2001 to Parma, of which he has been awarded to Reggina Calcio in January 2003.

For the season 2003/ 04 Aimo Diana went to Sampdoria, where he spent three years as a regular player and performer. Due to its good performance in Genoa, he recommended also for the national team, in which he made ​​his debut in the 1-1 under Giovanni Trapattoni on 28 April 2004 against Spain.

In 2006, Diana in exchange for Massimo Bonanni, Christian Terlizzi and two million Euros to U.S. Palermo. In January 2008 he was transferred to Torino, where he has a contract until 2011. Already in his second game for the Toro he scored against his old club Palermo scored his first goal for Turin.

In February 2010, Diana was loaned until the season end to the AC Bellinzona.
