AION Linguistica

AION Linguistica is a peer -reviewed journal for linguistics. The magazine was founded in 1959 and is routed through the University of Naples L' Orientale in Naples. Publisher is currently Domenico Silvestri, in collaboration with Alberto Manco.

History and Aims of the Journal

AION Linguistica was founded in 1959 by Walter Belardi. The second series was moved from 1979 to 2011 in the Dipartimento di Studi then del Mondo Classico e del Mediterraneo antico and by Domenico Silvestri published ( ISSN 1724-6172 ). Since 2000, Alberto Manco chief editor. With the expansion of the new department Dipartimento di Studi Letterari, Linguistici e Comparati the journal since 2012 is focused on contributions to broader areas of linguistics ( including the literary and comparative perspective).

Among the since its establishment contributing to the journal authors are Walter Belardi, Françoise Bader, Jürgen sub husband, Michel Lejeune, Francisco Villar Liébana, Giuliano Bonfante, Helmut Rix, Aldo Luigi Prosdocimi, José Luis García Ramón and many more.
