Air Cuba

Air Cuba, formed out of the former Chapterhouse drummer Ashley Bates and Christopher Andrews. The big beat -heavy rock duo was known in the European club scene under the name of Cuba.

Background

The Urnamen Cuba got the band in honor of the mother of Christopher Andrews, who was born in Cuba. Before releasing their first album in the United States the name was changed to Air Cuba.

In the 1990s, Andrews married the singer Rachel Goswell Slowdive (divorce in 2000), which was mittätig also in some shots.
