Air Force Central F.C.

Air Force United is a football club based in the Thai capital Bangkok. Air Force United is a military sports club of the Thai armed forces. Club history

The association is one of the oldest clubs in Thailand, founded in 1937. In the 50s and 60s, the club had its first glorious phase. From 1952 to 1967 he won 10 of his total of 13 championships. 7 championships was the Air Force win in a row. Won from 1957 to 1962. Apart from two Queen's Cup titles in the 70s, the club made ​​hardly any of talking with major titles from him. 1979 first played Piyapong Piew -on for the club. Until today, the history of the club, closely linked with his name. later he became not only one of the heroes of the club's history but also the Thai football. 1982 with the Queen's Cup and winning the 11 championship. With the 90s and the return of Piyapong was the first time to build on past successes again. 1995, 1996 and 2001, the Thai FA Cup was won. In 1996, the founding member of the new Thai Premier League and finished the season starting in 7th place. Piyapong Piew -on ended after this season, his playing career and became a coach of his club. In his first year in charge, he was able to win the championship. It was the first since 1987 for the club and the total of 10, the runner-up in 1998 was followed by the date last league title in the club's history. Another runner-up title in 2000, followed at the end of the 2003/04 season the relegation to the second division of Thailand.
