Air Gear
Air Gear (Japaneseエア·ギア) is a manga series of the Japanese signatory Oh! Great, which was implemented as a anime television series. The more than 6,000 -page manga can be assigned to the shōnen genus, ie aimed primarily at a younger, male audience. It was completed in 2012 with 357 chapters.

Air treks ( a.Ts. )
Air treks are similar to inline skates, shoes with wheels, but they have additional motors at the wheels. These make high speeds and long jumps possible. Air Gear was published from issue 49/2002 untill 25/ 2012 ( May 23, 2012 ) per week in individual chapters, with sales of up to two million per issue of publishing manga magazine Shōnen Magazine. The Kodansha publishing house summed up this single chapter together in 37 anthologies.
In the U.S., the manga in July 2006 published by Viz Media, in France by Pika Édition and in Italian at Planet Manga. In German 2008 eight volumes have been published in the April Heyne. The German translation is by Alexandra Klepper. However, Heyne has stopped all productions and Manga Air Gear has not yet been taken over by another publisher.
Adaptations
Anime
2006 produced the studio Toei Animation and Marvelous Entertainment directed by Hajime Kamegaki a 25- episode anime television series to manga. The character design was designed by Masayuki Satō. The anime was from 5 April to September 27, 2006 shortly after midnight (and thus on the previous TV day ) shown by the broadcaster TV Tokyo in Japan. With up to a week to TVQ Kyushu followed offset, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, and TV Setouchi, and later nationwide from August 31 AT -X.
ADV Films released the series in the U.S. and Kaze in France. ABS -CBN radiated from the anime in the Philippines. In Germany the series since 2007, available in 3 single DVD boxes and since 2009 also in a complete edition of Anime Virtual.
OVA
Studio Satelight later produced the 3-part original video animation Air Gear: Kuro no Hane to Nemuri no Mori - Break on the sky, directed by Shinji Ishihira.
The first episode was the limited version of the 30th manga strip from November 17, 2010 resolved and is of 16 Manga strip. The second consequence of the 31 band of 7 March 2011 and the third episode of the 32nd band from June 17, 2011 act of the 24th and 25th manga volume.

Reception
According to the German magazine Funime provides the plot of Air Gear little new and follows the normal pattern combat oriented anime. Although Comedy, Fanservice and subplots would bring to the beginning of a change in the story, but would not be more later to train or had covered, leaving little remained varied battles. The music was fast and the animation and drawings fairly decent for a television series. All of the simple characters are offset by the backgrounds. The German dubbed version was up to smaller errors well done.
